ANNOUNCEMENTS Wednesday November 5th – Day 1

 

MEETINGS:

 

  • Envirothon Important reminder:  All team members attending the competition this Friday need to see Ms. Halupa to pick up the permission forms during the morning break,  and get the information sheet with details on what to bring along!  All team members need to have the forms in order to attend the competition!

 

  • All DI members are asked to see Mrs. Halupa in room 408 during the morning break regarding the Craft Fair.

 

  • ESAP - Calling on all grade 10 students. Have you heard about the Essential Skills Achievement Pathway (ESAP) program at TOSH? ESAP is a graduation program that provides a personalized learning path, allowing students to acquire skills that support future learning and employment. It is based on the nine nationally recognized Skills for Success and is designed to lead directly to work or post-secondary education. Information sessions for students will be held on November 12th, 19th, and 26th at lunch from 11:45-12:05. All grade 10 students are welcome to learn more about the program!

 

  • sHOUT Please see Ms. Bradshaw at lunch today in room 706 to confirm shifts for the craft fair. Available 1:00 – 9:00 and Sunday 5:00 – 7:00. Those who spoke to Ms. DeCoste please be available for today at 3:15. You help is needed and greatly appreciated!

 

SPORTS:

  • Powerlifting11:40 in the weight room.

 

 

Volleyball ¼ finals – 5:30 and 7:15 tonight in the gym.  Come CHEER on the teams.

AW host Souris 5:30pm

AAAM host Westisle 7:15pm

 

  • + another reminder for fall athletes to return uniforms.
  • Wrestling – Mondays and Wednesdays at Athena beginning Nov 12th.  Let Mr. A know if you plan to attend.

 

MAIN OFFICE:

  • Could the following students please come to the office at break: Ariz Francisco and Sophie DesRoche.

 

  • A pair of prescription glass were left on a bus last week. They are here in the office if they are yours.
  • Student Fees and Forms – Are PAST due. Please make an effort to hand them in to your HR Teacher or directly to the office. Thanks!

 

 

 

STUDENT SERVICES/GRAD INFORMATION:

  • Reminder to Grads:

If you wish to have your graduation photo included in the yearbook, you must have your photo taken by either Heckbert’s Photography or Buffie Boily Photography. Your photo must be taken by December 31, 2025.

 

GENERAL:

  • Summerside Elementary Basketball League is looking for High School Volunteers to help officiate their games.  Boys play Monday and Girls play Wednesday 3:30-5pm.  SEBL hours can be put toward your bursary hours for volunteering.  Sign up will be posted **** please sign up if interested and Nicole McGreevy will contact you.  Or they can contact me at nmcgreevy@edu.pe.ca if interested.

Sign up sheet will be posted in the gym hallway.

Christmas Craft Fair - Athletics Signup:

  • Are you an athlete playing on a sports team at TOSH? This November, TOSH is hosting its annual Christmas craft fair, and we’re looking for you to volunteer. If you have played on a fall, winter, or spring sports team past or present, you could earn some money to put towards your athletic fee and travel expenses. If you are interested, please go to Mr. Monaghan’s Room #232 to sign up. Available time slots are Friday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 9.
