ANNOUNCEMENTS Monday, March 30, 2026

MEETINGS:

 

  • Envirothon:  There will be a brief Envirothon meeting at the start of lunch in Room 408 on Tuesday, March 31.  All members are asked to please attend.  If you can’t make it, please see Mrs. Halupa.

 

  • shOUT due to a schedule change, shOUT meetings will not be held on day 1 at noon. Next meeting is Wednesday at noon.

 

BAND/MUSIC:

  • There will be a brief meeting for the wind ensemble clarinet section with Mr. Kelly right after the bell at 10:10 in the band room.

 

  • Vocal Ensemble – will be held on Thursdays for the month of April @ 3:30.

 

 

SPORTS/GYM:

 

  • TOSH Men’s Ice Hockey (Team #2) are asked to meet in Room 810 at the beginning of lunch TODAY for a short meeting regarding the upcoming KISH Hockey tournament. All are expected to attend.

 

  •  Badminton and AAAm rugby players are asked to pick up team forms in pe office. 

 

 

  • Sign up sheets - for all spring sports are now posted in gym hallway. 

 

  • See Mr. A. - Isaiah Gaudet, Brielle Hickox, Addison Boulter, Max DesRoches.

 

  • Basketball players are reminded to return uniforms ASAP 

 

 

STUDENT SERVICES/GRAD INFO:

  • Grad Questionnaires have been handed out to homeroom teachers and are required to be handed back in to your teacher or Student Services TODAY!

 

  • CAKE AUCTIONTODAY at lunch in the cafeteria.

  • Royal Canadian Legion Branch #5 Educational Bursary - Applications are now available in the Student Services office. Due Date: May 31, 2026
    *Applications are to be returned to Summerside Legion by the due date.

 

  • Rural Municipality of Miscouche Resident Bursary – Applications are now available in Student Services. Due Date: April 24, 2026

TOSH CLUBS:

  • Art club: will be Thursday, April 2 after school to continue felting.

 

  • TOSH is having a logo contest.  There will be a prize!! Contest is to design an entry for this logo contest.  The logo is for the 50th Anniversary of the opening of Three Oaks in 1976. 
    Design a logo for this event, it must be 3 colours at the most and MUST be original - I can tell if it's Ai'd!!  Hand drawn or digital are accepted. It may be subject to minor edits if chosen as the winner.  Entries must be submitted to Ms. Dunphy in 505 or sddunphy@cloud.edu.pe.ca
    Due Wed. April 8.

GENERAL:

  • CONGRATULATIONSThe Summerside U18 Infernal (Team 1) captured the Gold medal at the Provincial Hockey tournament this weekend! A shout out to all the Senior players who played their final minor hockey game! Way To Go Girls!!!

Graduating Players are:Bella Hickox, Tori MacLeod, Elle Pomeroy, Haidyn Ryan, Paige Silliker, and Braelyn Yeo.

 

  • Coby Maund is asked to see Mr. MacDonald at the morning recess.

 

  • Stress and anxiety presentations:

Emily Steele from the Student Wellbeing Team will be hosting a lunch and learn in the lecture theater on stress and anxiety TOMORROW from 11:50-12:20. She will be exploring topics such as: why we feel anxiety, why anxiety feels the way it does, what thinking traps we can get into and how to get out of them, and the cycle of avoidance 

 

On April 7th, she will be hosting part two where she will talk about stress, ways to destress, and helpful vs less helpful coping strategies. She will also be teaching some coping skills to try when emotions run high.
