SPORTS:
FRIENDSHIP HOCKEY TOURNAMENT – Men #1 Team will play today at 7:30 p.m. at the Kensington Credit Union Place. Players are asked to be at the rink for 7:00 p.m. Men #2 will play Friday at 8:45 p.m. at the Kensington Credit Union Place as well. These are both elimination games and fans are welcome to attend. Cost is $2.00. Any players who still have a jersey or a pair of socks is asked to return them to the Phys. Ed. Office today.
A WOMEN’S RUGBY – Tryouts are today 3:30-5:30 p.m. outdoors.

ALL RUGBY PLAYERS – Are reminded that cleats are NOT permitted inside the school.
TRACK AND FIELD – 12 minute run tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. in the gym for everyone who signed up for a running event.
FLAG FOOTBALL TRYOUTS – Will take place in the gym. All those trying out are asked to have a mouth guard, suitable gear and a water bottle. Today – Women 3:30-5:00 p.m. and Men 5:00-6:30 p.m. Friday – Men 3:30-5:00 p.m. and Women 5:00-6:30 p.m.
WOMEN’S SOFTBALL TRYOUTS – April 16, 22, and 25 from 3:30-4:45 p.m. in the gym. Team will be posted in the gym hallway on April 26th.
GENERAL:
CONGRATULATIONS – To Grade 10 student Hargun Cheema for placing 2nd at the PEI Science Fair for her project “Soft Landing on Mars.” She was also chosen to represent PEI at the National Science Fair.
ATTENTION TOSH – You will notice ground work being done outside the cafeteria. This area is out of bounds for all until complete. Rugby players going to the upper field will need to go around the school.
ANY STUDENTS WHO WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CARPENTRY AND/OR ENVIRONMENT OR EARN COMMUNITY SERVICE BURSARY HOURS – A construction day will take place this coming Saturday at the CTEC Building from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Can’t make it, join any Tuesday after school to help out in building TOSH’s new solar broadcasting canteen and outdoor cafeteria. GYM LOCKER ROOMS - Will be open ONLY for class time for the next little while. Students wanting to use the gym at lunch should have their sneakers with them.
PROM FUNDRAISER - Has been extended till April 12th to allow all grads to sell tickets! If any grads need more tickets, you can pick them up in Room 812 from Ms. Campbell. All stubs and money can be returned to Ms. Campbell or e-transferred to mldoiron@ihis.org. Encouraging all to do some selling!!
RAFFLE TICKETS AND COOKIES - Are on sale today and Friday outside the Lecture Theatre from 12:10 – 12:30 p.m. for $2.00. ALL proceeds go towards TOSH Senior Prom 2024.
