- Envirothon: All Envirothon team members will meet this afternoon starting at 3:30 in Room 506 to continue working on their presentations for the New Brunswick Envirothon. See Mr. Higginbotham or Ms. Halupa if you have any questions!
- Marine Science ADP: There will be an important meeting for all members on Wednesday, April 15 starting at 11:45 in Room 506. - The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program (RYLA) is one of the most successful Rotary programs run by Rotary clubs around the world. District 7815 RYLA is a fun and intensive training program designed for teens (15-19 years of age) to inspire leadership and provide them with the skills to complete their goals.
What are the benefits of RYLA?
RYLA allows you the opportunity to build your problem solving and communication skills, discover strategies for becoming a dynamic leader in your school or community, explore career paths, share ideas and experiences with your peers, coordinate youth activities and/or community service projects and discuss creative approaches for resolving family, social, and professional conflicts.
Through RYLA, Rotary District 7815 aims to:
*Provide young leaders the opportunity to collaborate in a supportive environment to gain a better understanding of their own and others’ strengths, unique qualities, and abilities.
*Facilitate workshops about teamwork, communication, and motivation to develop the leadership skills Demonstrate Rotary's commitment to youth development and growth.
When and where is RYLA held?
Rotary District 7815’s RYLA 2026 will be held at Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) in Truro, NS on May 15th & 16th.
*** Interested applicants can contact me (Mr. Hockin) to inquire about more information and to receive a registration form. Successful applicants will have their trip covered by the Rotary Club of Summerside.

GENERAL:
- Kids Help Phone Visiting TOSH @ Wednesday, April 15th - KHP is a free, 24/7 support service for young people in Canada. By connecting with KHP, children and youth can receive professional counselling, volunteer crisis support and information about local resources relating to mental health and wellbeing. But did you know that KHP offers school-based programming, student volunteer opportunities, and mental health literacy curriculum to educators to support students in their mental health & wellbeing? They will be set up in the main lobby during the lunch break!
- TOSH has Talent Show is happening on TODAY at 6:30pm in TOSH Cafeteria. Come out to see some amazing acts and see who will be crowned the champion who wins $500! Tickets are available for $10 in the main office, at the door of the event or from a France Travel student.
All performers in the TOSH has talent are asked to see Ms Hickey in room 606 at some point soon.
