MEETINGS:
Marine Science ADP – All students who have signed up for the Huntsman Marine Science Center trip are asked to meet with Mr Higginbotham starting at 11:50 on Thursday, June 4 in Room 506. It is important for all students attending the trip to be at the meeting to get information to take home.
Marine Science Students who are graduating this year are asked to meet with Mr Higginbotham starting at 11:50 in Room 506 TODAY to confirm the due date for portfolios and finalize the list for who is receiving the diplomas.
There will be an official opening reception for the TOSH Grad Art Exhibit. It will take place tonight from 6-7 at 75 Spring Street. It is open to the public, so all are welcome to come and check out some great art! The show runs from June 1 – 12 if you would like to go another time.

SPORTS/GYM:
Congratulations to TOSH Rugby teams in their medal victories at the PEI Provincial Championships yesterday. TOSH Women’s A team captured Silver, the Men’s AAA captured Silver and the Women’s AAA captured Gold for TOSH.

STUDENT SERVICES/GRAD INFO:
- A representative from government student loans will be here for a Lunch-n-Learn session at 11:40, Monday, June 8 for any graduating students looking for help applying for student loans (in the lecture theatre).
Rubin Depow Summer Study Program. This program gives students completing grades 11 or 12 an opportunity to complete a university-level course - for credit - in two weeks over the summer and serves as a great, supported introduction to the caliber of university-level courses!
This program includes:
- Extensive field trips
- Work within the community
- Prioritized access to services
- A supervised stay in residence
- Food on campus
$500 bursaries are available for this program, which, otherwise, costs $1,000.

Important information for potential Graduates to complete ASAP!!
- SCHOLARSHIPS, BURSARIES & AWARDS INFORMATION - Any graduates who have received scholarships, awards &/or bursaries and wish to have them announced at the graduation, must upload electronic copies of this information in the TOSH Grad Classroom. *Please upload a picture/PDF/copy of the award into this assignment. DO NOT copy and paste info into a Word Doc as this is not an acceptable version and will not be accepted. If you have issues with this, please see me in Student Services or email the information to jnmills@edu.pe.ca. (No students have submitted any information so far.)
- Graduate Future Plans & FINAL Transcript Request – In the TOSH Grad Classroom, there is a form all graduates are required to complete to have your FINAL transcript sent to the school of your choice at the end of June along with the program you are entering. If you are not attending school in the fall, we would also appreciate if you could share your future plans! (Only 91 students have submitted this information so far.)
- Peer Tutors: Please email or see Mrs. Noonan in 605 with the amount of hours you have tutored this year.
BAND:
All students who played in the Wind Ensemble at any point this year are asked to return their music to the appropriate piles on the grey tables in the music room hallway and return their folders no later than today, June 3rd. A note that leaving your music folder in the cabinet is NOT returning it properly! Please check your name off the list once you’ve done this so Mr. Kelly doesn’t have to come and find you 😊.
Grade 10 students are also asked to clean their instruments and return their instruments to the shelf this week. Please see Google Classroom for proper instructions on how to do this. Grade 11-12 students will do this during the exam period.
