As part of a Create and Lead project through the Leadership 621 class, we have a student who is wanting to give back to the community by creating care packages for the women currently staying at LifeHouse.
The student writes:
LifeHouse provides essential support through their Emergency Shelter and Transitional House, and these bags are a small way to provide comfort and encouragement to those in our community.
We are looking for donations of the following items (new and unused, please):
Personal Care & Comfort
• Hair elastics
• Lip balm
• Small hand lotions
• Deodorant
• Small teddy bears
Activities & Reflection
• Journals
• Coloring books and pencils
Treats
• Chocolate and candy
• Gum
How to Donate:
Please bring any items you can contribute to the main office in a box that is marked “Donations for life house” by May 25th.
Every small item helps us reach our goal of 15 complete packages. Thank you so much for supporting this project and helping us make a difference for the women at LifeHouse!
